Wow, what a time! We are overwhelmed by all the positive feedback we have received from you. The enriching conversations, valuable memories and many friendships are just the tip of the iceberg. Together with you, we have created a place that not only uniquely stands for productivity and enjoyment, but especially for togetherness and encounters. We wanted to be more than a café; we wanted to be a home for those looking for inspiration, collaboration and a place to grow.

Almost 2 years ago, we would never have dreamed of creating such an impact in our own and Cologne’s neighbourhood. And that is precisely why we have to pull the ripcord here: The steep growth of the Betaphase has caught up with us. We reached the golden rule of the catering industry (“3 years to establish yourself”) in just a few months, while only the best feedback came in (including 5.0 stars on Google).

On the other hand, of course, this also has a personal impact on us. The challenge now is to take a step back, reflect and gather our thoughts. Because: we may be closing the café, but the “Betaphase” concept will not be buried and will be revived as 2.0 in some time. Want to know when that happens? From 18 March, we will be closing our day-to-day business, as we will be selling our entire inventory in the last two weeks: desks, chairs, bar stools, monitors, kitchen equipment and much more. Bookings can be made in advance. Just get in touch with us if you are interested.
